Significantly reduce the chances of a dryer fire.
Lint is a hidden fire hazard, and even a cleaned lint screen will not trap all of the debris while drying clothes. When lint builds up in dryer vents the motor can overheat, causing lint to ignite.
Lower your electrical bills.
When your dryer vent is clean, your dryer doesn’t have to work as hard to expel its heat and humidity. This efficiency boost translates into lower energy costs for you.
Reduce the time you spend doing laundry.
Clean dryer vents lead to fewer cycles. This means less time doing laundry and more time binge-watching your favorite crime drama.
Extend the life of both your dryer and your clothes.
When dryers have to compensate for their dirty vents, it’s hard on them! Give your dryer the maintenance it deserves.
Cleaning your dryer vents reduces household dust and decreases humidity. Ever heard of dust mites?
Believe it or not, rodents, birds, and even snakes can make their way into your dryer vents. We can take care of this problem so that you don’t have to.
Who We Are
Dirty Ducts was started in 2007 when I had a dryer that quit working. I immediately bought a new dryer yet still had the same problem. I did some research, climbed into my attic, and cut open my dryer vent. What I saw really bothered me. It was literally packed full of lint that was obviously restricting the air flow and creating a fire hazard. I thought to myself, “if this is happening to me, then who else is it happening to?” Here we are today, Tallahassee’s premier dryer vent cleaning company.
I grew up in Florida, born to a family of farmers and teachers. I left my home town of Wauchula to attend FSU in 2003. After college I entered the fire service and have been a fireman in Tallahassee since 2010. My career with Dirty Ducts began in February of 2017 when Jason presented me with the awesome opportunity. The virtues of hard work, honesty, and attention to detail have served me well throughout my career and I look forward to serving you in the future.
